I wished I was out there too...
I have thoughts about wandering far from this place...I need a change from what I am doing. A breather at least. Hearing friends who are happier with where they are at now, I am envious. I wished I was out there too. If I'd go, I won't miss a thing or two. Perhaps, it is just me feeling blue. I have lotsa things to do. It's never gonna end unless I strongly say 'NO'. Knowing myself and this current situation, I could wait till the cows come home. And I'd still be here where I am, staying stagnant and having cobwebs over me. I thought I was strong, but I was not...I seemed to have drifted apart from this cold place I once thought I could be there for long...I was so wrong.

Bogged Down with Thousand & One Things...
I was so bogged down with work last week and I had hardly enough sleep. Almost every night, I'd find myself sleeping at 4am because of the preparations for sunday's Chinese Orchestra & Choir concert. I was the one who came up with the programme booklet for the concert. I also did the A3 posters which were placed around the school for publicity sake and the banner hung above the stage of NAFA Lee Foundation Theatre. I was supposed to conduct the choir with this Andre Bocelli's piece, "Because We Believe" but did not eventually because I did not get to see my choir for practice because of my absence. Apart from that, I have a TMA yet to be started. It was supposedly due on Friday. I have asked for an extension till Tues. My marking is piling up as usual. My workstation in school is in a mess. Looking at my calendar, I still have to think about the upcoming NDP rehearsals which would lessen my time with my family. Save me! My passion is dying...

Princess Nicole's birthday party
Yeah...Nicole turned 3! We were delighted to celebrate Nicole's birthday with Godma Eileen, Maria, Aison & De Si, and friends from N211(cellgrp), not forgetting her beloved popo, gong gong, ah yee, dennis kor kor, and daniel. Nicole seemed to enjoy her big day opening her pressies and playing her new toys. Dearie & I bought food initially for 16 persons but eventually it turned out that there were more than 20 guests. I was actually worried that the food we bought was not enough, since at the very last min, I was told guests whom I didn't expect/invite would turned up too. All in all, I kept hearing Nicole's laughter as she was playing with all the 'jie jie's' and 'kor kors', while I was busy serving her special birthday guests. (all adults!)
Okay, these weren't the only pictures taken (courtesy of Eileen)....there are more coming up soon, so do wait up for some more to be posted. (taken by a professional photographer, also our friend from Cg)
Dearie & I want to appreciate all those who have made Nicole's birthday a joyful and memorable
one. We would also like to thank all for their love offerings, presents and blessings. Thank you all for your presence again. You have definitely made lil Nicole very happy. (asked Nicole how she felt about the party while driving home, she mentioned she was happy!)
Till then...

Sun & Moon Dining with Clique
Sun & Moon Japanese Dining is one of the many places I would love to hang out at. I have been there a few times with my clique...I just realised I have not been there with Eileen. Sorry gal, we will go there someday together.

Of Japanese Pasta & Pizza......Shokudo
Rainy Sunday, Dinner time
Dearie brought me to try out Jap pasta & pizza at Shokudo (name of restaurant not very easy to remember), located at city link mall. I liked the decor of this place especially the hanging from the ceiling ball-shaped lightings. It made it looked so arty-farty.
I ordered the grilled salmon with salmon roe on spaghetti cooked with wafu sauce. Dearie ordered penne with seafood in tomato cream, which was something Nicole loved too. We also ordered the thin-crust pizza with teriyaki chicken & ham. It was a nice dining experience, just enough to fill one's stomach.
