Yes...it's the school holis but sadly, I am still much needed in GCE 'O' Level invigilation and CCA duties (guest choir performing 30 nov at sg conference hall).
I have been spending alot of time with my dearest princess. I have been bringing her back home so that both my parents have better night sleep. She is getting used to coming back home now, just that she dislikes it having to wake up early in the morning to go back to my mum's.
This entire week is somewhat crucial but exciting coz it's the pledging week. Still awaiting for the amount to be spoken to me...will be fasting thurs and friday.
Haa! Speaking of my hair...yet to have it trimmed and coloured. Just couldnt find the time...sigh...this evening, dearie and maurice had their haircut at Supercut at Cineleisure. Both of them were charged 25 bucks. I asked for the price for my hair length...was shocked when it was 50 bucks for just trimming. For that price...I could have gone to Toni & Guy salon!~ Anyway, I changed my mind about having my hair trimmed there.
Tommorrow's ladies nite out...cellgroup sisters! yepp! we are going to have a simple dinner at raffles city, do alittle shopping and desserts at menotti. haa! I just had desserts there with maurice and dear...looks like my diet plan is not gonna work again...ha!
Will be back with pics of the nite out...

An afternoon treat...
Met Eileen for late lunch at Vivo city this afternoon. It was my first time eating at Carl's Junior. The serving is enormously big. I had Guacamole double bacon burger and Eileen had her Portobello Mushroom Burger. I tasted eileen's burger which was a saltier version of Burger king's mushroom swiss. The burger I had tasted yummy...the avocado-based sauce was simply irresistible. *drools* Here are the pics taken today...

Words
Words, may come in a form of encouragement and affirmation
We need them when we are down and out in our emotions.
Words, are sometimes best to be left unspoken
They might turn out to be hurting words which will leave a scar on the person's heart.
Words, may come in a sweet package just to make someone's day
They might also turn the person off if they were inappropriately used.
We ought to be careful with the words we use and choose because we know the consequences ahead of us. So do think twice before speaking out these words.

Selamat Hari Raya...
While my muslims frens were busy with their visitations, my family spent the day at East Coast Park. We were supposed to meet our cg members there in the morning, but dearie woke up with a stiff neck. Brought him to a chinese doctor instead. I didnt really trust the place dearie was going to...it was a hdb unit and apparently, this doctor operates a business in his home. True enough, dearie did not feel any better after the consultation.
Wanted to go home instead since he was in pain, but he insisted on going to EC park. We arrived there at about 2pm. Some of the members were blading. Some of them had already cycled a few rounds. Had wan tan mee at east coast lagoon hawker centre. It was yummy. We headed for a round of bowling then pool. Dearie decided to call it a day and persuaded me to bring him to another medical hall to consult yet another chinese doctor. This time round he felt much much better.
Had zi char at amk ave 3. One dish was only at $4.80. We ordered 5 dishes. The food was ok...Sorry no pictures though I really wanted to post some here. Nicole was too grouchy that I didnt have any mood to take pics.

Random post
It's been two weeks since I did not play pool at ladybrinth (regular pool place at middle road both my dear & I frequent)
Was out with two 'friends' to play a few games of pool at CCK this time. (1) Reason because they are staying around the vicinity. (2) It was kinda last min and we managed to find a place where we can play pool at that hour...K-pool at Lot 1. The pool salon wasnt as fantastic. No ambience, freezingly cold... Chinese songs were blasting from the speakers. The crowd was mainly youngsters.
Enjoyed playing pool with them though the environment doesnt seemed right.

I'm Back!
Hi peeps, it has been a long time since I blog. I have been busy with marking of exam papers these days. Not feeling too well too because of the haze out there. Here's what I did during the past one week. My cellgroup N211 had buffet dinner together at sakura with compliments from Matthew. Thanks Matthew for your generosity. Here's some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Next, I celebrated my birthday on sunday with my family at Jack's place. Best place for steaks. Nicole was well-behaved on that day. She wasn't making a lot of noise. She was playing and eating bread and lobster bisque. Here's some cute pictures taken of her with her hair nicely tied up.

In the evening, I met up with my buddies, Eileen & Elly, Ivan - Mark's friend, Maria and Evelyn my sister, at Suntec City's Olio to have our dinner. I was showered with birthday gifts from all of them. Eileen gave me a pair of heart-shaped earrings...Love them, thks missy bean! Elly gave me a pierre cardin wallet. Thank you girl, I have lotsa wallets now haha!...Ivan gave me a pretty and sweet Cross key-chain. It's so pretty that I dont have the heart to use it for fear that the sparkling crystals will fall off. Lastly, Maria gave me a big soft toy dog cushion and a birthday card that she wrote long messages. Although, her intention of the dog cushion was to let me use it in the music room so that I could rest on it but I chose to bring it back home instead cos I find the music room dusty. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. Thank you so much buddies.

After dinner, we moved to One Fullerton for desserts with compliments from Evelyn (early birthday celebration since everyone was there). We were planning to go to Bakerzin, but was disappointed to find that it has closed down. We went to Black Angus instead. Had cheese Cake, Mud Pie and chocolate fudge cake and a plate of fried onions to go along. Chocolate fudge cake is the best dessert there, cheese cake's texture was too dry, mud pie was ok but was messy because it melted fast.
