Happy Anniversary My Love

This post is specially dedicated to my Dearie.  We celebrated our 6 years anniversary on Monday.  We have been through many ups and downs over the years.  All I can say that after what we have been through together, our love for each other has grown stronger.

Back at the hotel, we celebrated Dearie's Birthday
 with two mini cakes from the hotel cafe

This is the last episode of my escapade
I must say I have had a wonderful time with my loved ones
Bintan is a nice getaway for sure
My experience there was a pleasant one
and I will definitely go back again
if I have the chance...

Our Escapades - Part 5 (Day 2 cont'd)

Day 2 (Continued...)

Having checked with the hotel, we found out an alternative place for spa

cos we think that the spa @ angsana resort was way too expensive

This is a place near Pasar Oleh Oleh

where you will find Martha Tilaar Spa...

We were greeted by polite staff at the door

We chose the milk spa treatment and

was ushered up to the second floor to wait for our room to be ready

Dearie and I each had our individual spa room
as they were fully booked that evening...

This hawker centre was just opposite the Martha Tilaar Spa
and we just had to have their local food...
the adventurous us decided to try out their local delicacies

We bought mee goreng back to the hotel for supper
and was surprised to find that it tasted very good.
Tho' this chef looks pretty young, he is sure a good cook!

This was what I had for dinner at the hawker centre

Verdict: Nice
Sambal chilli was fantastic!

We ordered their rendition of the roti prata
but our lil girl didn't like it becos of the veg he added into the egg
Nevertheless, we liked it

Our Escapades - Part 4 (Day 2)

The day  began with passing showers on the island...dampening our moods

Look how heavy the rain was...

Look at my dear princess...face sulking big time because of the bad weather!

The weather got better, both Nicole and Dearie made their way to the pool to swim

Finally, the rain stopped.

Happy to be dipping in the pool

Our Escapades - Part 3 (Day 1)

Day 1 - We were famished so we settled our lunch at Lotus Cafe

After lunch, we proceeded to the help desk to ask what other activities they offer at Bintan.
They suggested going to Pasar Oleh Oleh and
there were stipulated timings for the bus to come round to pick us up to the place.
