A week feasting myself with ice-cream and more ice-cream

Maybe I was too caught up with work and studies...Nevertheless,in order to stay sane and to relieve myself from the burdened thoughts of unfinished work, I had an ice-cream indulgence to make myself happy.
I had three scoops of wonderfully flavoured alcoholic ice-cream - triple choc, lychee martini & rum & raisin at udders, a cool place at goldhill plaza.

Tea-Time Special With Good Company

This was an impromptu meet-up. Coincidentally, we were online (msn) and after awhile of chatting and discussing where to meet, the next moment we found ourselves at Dome Dempsey. This is again one of my favourite places I'd like to be at for a lazy afternoon and for a perfect indulgence of good food.

Of Dim Sum Supper Treats & Midnight buys

I met up with Eileen just after my Company Law lesson. A Stressful 3-hour lecture I must say cos the lecturer kept asking questions. I have not done any in-depth reading yet so I was actually clueless when the lecturer prompted us to think about the questions.

Eileen & I did not plan for this meeting. We settled for Dim Sum treats near Mustafa. Food was so-so though it looked great on the menu. After that, we decided to shop at Mustafa which was a little consolation in a bid to 'walk off' the calories we had just taken in. I bought a pair of shoes, glittering eye makeup, and OHP transparency markers.

Drunken Chicken, Yam ball, Hot-n-sour soup, chee cheong fun, carrot cake

dumplings in hot chilli oil at extreme right
Nice shoes with an expensive look...why? Ruth & Conz thought it was from Charles & Keth or Mphosis... hee!

It was a steal for only 14 bucks!

Michelle's Wedding

I wanna thank Janice for reminding me that faithful afternoon over msn that that evening we were supposed to attend Michelle's wedding dinner. The wedding dinner was held at a hotel along beach road, can't remember the name of the hotel though. Anyway, we had a great time catching up with friends.

My Poor Foot

Saturday: Wore high heels to Wedding
Sunday: Went Sentosa, played beach volleyball
Monday: Wore pvc-material shoes
Monday night: tip-toed to reach for something high on the racks, 'cracked'.
Tues morning: couldn't stand up nor walk
Tues afternoon: Saw Doctor for 2-days MC, massage therapist to 'adjust' my foot.
Wed: Limping to work, yet smiling meekly.

Sleepless Night

I was probably too distraught to sleep last night...Ended up watching 'The Sound Of Music' movie. Even with such a slow movie-musical, I couldn't sleep. After tossing and turning, I slept at 5am...woke up at 7.30am to prepare for piano lessons. I looked into the mirror, saw my depressed look on my face, swollen eyes.

Deceit...hdb is famous for that now...

Yet Another Disappointment...

Estate : Queenstown
Flat-Type : 4-Room
Your balloted queue position : 1681

As your queue position exceeds twice the number of flats available for selection, you will not be invited to participate in the main selection exercise, which will be conducted in April/May 2008.

Yes...I have received the results for January balloting exercise. I am very disappointed with the results. This is the 5th time at balloting and it's a failure again. Apart from balloting, I have also tried my luck twice at walk-in exercises.

The one thing I ain't happy with HDB is that...Dearie's male colleague, attached to a gf he knew she wouldn't make it as his wife, tried his luck at the same balloting exercise. He told dearie he had accidentally clicked onto "married child policy" which gives him a priority under this scheme. This is his first time applying for a flat. Wanna know what's his queue no.? He has got a queue no. of 34!

Downright unfair right? Don't you agree? Sigh...I am on the verge of giving up. I am sick of waiting...I have been to look for the MP of Clementi GRC twice...each time Dearie and I went, he helped by writing a letter on behalf of us to request for hdb to reconsider our applications. The replies from HDB were something one would'nt wanna hear.

The day seemed to end longer...

I have just completed my assignment due last night. Spent a total of 7 hours straight with my Lappie on Eileen's table completing a 1800-word essay. Wanna thank her for giving me the moral support. When I arrived back home, it was already 3.30am! ha...the needed sleep for me to get refresh so that I could get up in time for school...yeah I did...Thank God.

Didn't like what happened this morning...if you wanna know I will tell if you call...

till then...
