Broadway Beng 3

Yeah this was my virgin broadway beng show I watched. Funny man Sebastian Tan seemed to enjoy making his audiences laugh...his rendition of the original song "Do-Re-Mi" from the musical "The Sound of Music" was turned into some hokkien beng version. Enjoyed the show because it is FOC too! Compliments from Guat Hoon, my student.

Mother's Day At Herbs & Spices

Box of Chocolate Factory donuts specially bought by Maria...very sweet of you, maria! Thank you!
Yeah, I didnt managed to eat all 6 of them, I only ate two!

Church gave all mothers who attended service that day a gift from body shop

Body lotion, Body Foam and Perfume - a Cassis Rose collection
& a pink rose

Taken in the car - waiting to pick mother-in-law for dinner

Nic posing with the rose

At herbs & Spices - a Euradian Restuarant along Upp Thomson Road, a must-try!

Tandoori Chicken
Tiramisu - I ate 4 of these in total in just two days!
You have to order in advance, because it is a sell-out!

Saw this soft toy which looked like a dead dog lying on the road behind a parked car...It was so cute I just couldn't resist snapping a photo of it...

The Day I Cooked Up a Storm in Mum's Kitchen

Tried and tasted by Dearie a few days before I cooked up a big storm in mum's kitchen, this was my rendition of bacon bits spaghetti in olive...yeah, that's how I shall name it. Alright, you would have to try in order to know how good it is... Dearie got hooked to it immediately, kept saying it's delicious. This is a way to a man's heart, agree?

After my family finished the pasta I cooked, we celebrated mother's day with a Chocolate-banana cake I bought from Secret Recipe. This is a very heavy cake, weighing 2.4kg.

An all-time favourite

Mum was camera-shy, and insisted to be left out of the pic.

Eat Out At Spaggedies

Happy Two...Nicole's wide-mouth ready for a frog

Mummy's Aglio Olio's with Grilled Chicken

Ham, Turkey & Bacon Pizza with Lettuce served on top

This was what I ate - Prawny Linguine

A needed change for the needed space...

Pictures tell you a thousand words...

Before - Nic's clothes were simply too many and the drawers gave way. Some of her clothes need to be placed in a plastic bag. My books and notes were stacked to nose high...haha!

After - bought this chest of drawers from Ikea at half price. This is an As-If item, it was selling at $355 and displayed for 8 weeks. However, due to some chip-off corners at the back of the drawer, it was selling at only $169. After some detailed checks, I realised the chipped-off area wasn't that obvious. Another steal!

Buried Six Feet Under A Huge Pile of ...

Ha! Sounded like a horror flick?...Yeah, I am buried under piles of exam papers. As Mr 'Procrastinate' decided to hit me over the weekends, the pile was let to lay untouched on the table. My exam is nearing, one on 16 May (EL), the other on 26 May (Company Law & Corp Governance). I have not started on revising yet. I've really gotta buck up and speed up my marking...

I've gotten back my last EL assignment from my tutor. I was very surprised that I've gotten 83 marks for it. Ha! Never did I expect that high grade since I had much difficulty understanding the assignment question! The truth: I was stuck with 300 words for two full days and while I continued with the essay, I kept thinking I would go out-of-point. :D

Jiayan's wedding is on 17 May which is a day after my EL paper. I have yet to buy base makeup, corset, nic's dress, accessories and white heels. I was roped in to play the keyboard at her church wedding and be one of her 17 jie meis. I know this sounds crazy... it sounded like Le mafia girls! Wanna take a peek at what I will be wearing for her church wedding? Here's what I will be donning on...Feel free to gimme your comments...

I bought this at Holland Village Shopping Centre

Close-up of the dress - shimmery floral design
Borrowed this white shawl from Xiaoyun - in an effort to cover up my fat arms
I bought a pearl necklace to go along with the dress
