Music & Lyrics

Way Back Into Love - OST Music and Lyrics
I’ve been living with a shadow, over head
I’ve been sleeping with a cloud, above my bed
I’ve been lonely for so long
Trapped in the past, I just can’t seem to move on
I’ve been hiding all my hopes and dreams away
just in case I ever need them again someday
I’ve been setting aside time
to clear a little space in the corners of my mind
All I wanna do is find a way back into love
I can’t make through without a way back into love
Oh-oh
I’ve been watching
but the stars refuse to shine
I’ve been searching
but I just don’t see the signs
I know that it’s out there
there’s gotta be something for my soul somewhere
I’ve been looking for someone to shed some light
Not somebody just to get me through the night
I could use some direction
and I’m open to your suggestions
All I wanna do is find a way back into love
I can’t make it through without a way back into love
And if I open my heart again
I guess I’m hoping that you’ll be there for me in the end
There are moments when I don’t know if it’s real
or if anybody feels the way I feel
I need inspiration
Not just another negotiation
All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can’t make it through without a way back into love
And if I open my heart to you
I’m hoping you’ll show me what to do
and if you’ll help me to start again
you know that I’ll be there for you in the end

CNY 2007
Right, I know this is a bit late for an update. But anyway, I will still tell you how I spend my CNY. How did you spend your CNY? I didn't really enjoy mine because my family was down with stomach flu. Nicole caught it on Vday...she vomited and had diarrheoal. The following day, I caught the flu from her, felt nauseous, vomited and had diarrheoal too. I felt so sickly in the morning in school, that I had to call dearie to make a trip to school to fetch me back. Saw the doctor, confirmed it was stomach flu, went back home, vomited all out in the toilet (the feeling was horrendous I must say), showered and took medicine, then slept for the whole entire day. I had no appetite because I felt nauseous each time I smelled food. Mum caught the virus the next day (friday). I went back to school to watch Drastic Turnover's performance and was relieved and proud of them for doing a great job although it was a last minute thing. Way to go DT! After bringing back some markings to mark over the weekends and also to do some unfinished business (common test paper), I left the school, and picked up my mum from the polyclinic. She was puking non-stop into a drain before she got on into my car. I was holding my breath just in case I feel nauseous again. Thank God nothing happened. My bro daniel complained that he too vomited. I guess by this time, almost all of us who were in close contact with nicole caught the virus. Both my B-in law and dearie caught the virus during the CNY! Ok, enough said, guess I'm gonna let the pictures do the talking now and tell you how I spent my CNY.

Happy Valentine's Day
1. After picking up dearie at Vivo City (he was there to buy my v-day gift), we drove to a few places to find a place to have dinner.
2. We stopped by at YESS centre hoping that the korean BBQ Restaurant will not be crowded. But we were wronged...they don't entertain anymore walk-in customers.
3. Next stop, we tried Jack's place at clementi Entertainment centre, but was shocked to see some 30 over people standing outside Jack's place.
4. We drove to Sakura International Buffet (Clementi Woods)...was also turned down because they don't entertain anymore walk-in customers.
5. We turned back to pasir panjang and stopover at Pasta Fresca for dinner. We were surprised that there were some empty tables although the whole restaurant seemed to be packed with couples. Here's what we ordered...(my apologies for the lousy resolution, these photos are taken with my hp)

6. We ordered Croquette, seafood soup, 2 sets of Beef Tenderloin cooked medium well.7. After dinner, we set off to watch GhostRider at Cineleisure. Not a fantastic movie, I was expecting more from it.

Five things you didn't know about Me
Tagged--Five things you didn't know about Me
1. Old Clothes
My wardrobe is filled with plenty of clothes and at least 2/3 of them, either the size doesn't fit or they are out-of-style. I am still trying to find TIME to clear the loads of ill-fitting & out-of-style clothes outta this small and confined space I am sharing with my hubby. These clothes will most probably end up with the salvation army.
2. Bags
Yes bags, I have plenty of them and as a matter of fact, I have simply lost count of them. I just bought two bags from Mango last month. This month I bought another two from perlini. I am an ultimate bag fanatic. My hubby is complaining that my bags are piling up in his study room.
3. Afraid of creepy crawlies
Ask anyone who knows me well enough, I will definitely scream and run as fast as I could when I happen to see one! I have had a bad encounter with creepy crawlies when I was younger. Freaks me out completely!
4. My love for fast cars
If I have a chance, I wanna watch Formula 1 live or drive a F1 car on the racing tracks. My favourite F1 driver would be Michael Schumacher. I love red Ferrari even though I think it is quite impossible owning one in future. I used to like toyota celica but now I am more into the 1.8 ltr honda civic (hybrid), honda integra and mazda RX5.
5. Dry feet
I have dry feet. If you take a closer look at the soles of my feet, you would be able to see how dry it is. I am like a snake changing its skin. Sometimes, I would experience cracked heels, sometimes bleeding, and it could be quite painful to walk on.
Do exactly this same thing on your blog if you're tagged by me!!
Ok...I gotta tag 5 others...so here they are...

Rashes hit
I attended the first lesson (effective communication) on Sat. While the pretty lecturer was explaining the notes in the textbook, I was there jotting down the important points on a notepad. It somehow feels a little weird as it has been a long time since I've attended a formal lecture. I am looking forward to the lecture on Friday and the following Monday. (Humanities & Contract Law)
I have been faithfully reading up notes on the online portal (blackboard) and marking students' homework. My colleague Jun even mentioned that she has never seen me seriously getting work done unless the deadline is nearing. God has indeed given me strength and wisdom in time management and because of this, I have the urgency to keep doing the things I am supposed to do. You are simply an awesome God!
I am also happy to see the students in my school having an interest in Gusto. ( Gusto is a music programme that features the musical talents of the students in my school...I talent-spot these people, I hold auditions and pick the better singers & musicians). The next lunchtime concert happening on 16 feb is coming soon. Drastic Turnover (pop/rock band) which has been under my tutelage since June 2006, is looking out for a lead singer. Maria and Norman (both our singers) want to concentrate on their studies, which led me to no choice but to audition singers. It's not easy to find a singer who is comfortable singing in a live band. He/she basically needs the quality and the x-factor. The next audition is happening next week...hopefully, I am able to talent-spot one.
Nicole is down with cough and flu again. Although I was on MC on Tues, I did not get even rest because Nic is also sick. She vomited whatever she consumed and I have to do the cleaning up.
God, heal her right now...regain her appetite so that she doesn't throw up again.
I am too lazy to put up pics for now. Till then...

BusyBusy
Yes, classes have started...I've met my form class 1N1. These past two weeks, they were ok during my English lessons. However, here was what I've heard from my class chairman (monitress). She told me the class isnt this well-behaved in other subjects other than my lesson. I think it really helps being their form teacher...it has a certain authority that made the students fearful of me.
These two weeks, I have been faithfully marking student's work as I do not wish to see the same pile of books or assignments on my desk unmark!
I have to get back to do my work for now...workplan 2007, student's jounals, comprehension, few writing...sigh I am sleepy but still gotta start with at least something....
